Beautifully hand made finished. Fastened by means of wooden buttons.

Hungarian vintage linen is world renowned for its quality. Most of what is referred to as Hungarian linen is in fact hemp. Most of which has been home grown, harvested , spun  and loomed. Many hours of work went into each metre of finished product.

Vintage linen grain and flour sacks, many of which are unsued and have been found having been stored for years were hand woven  many years ago.The stripes and monogram. when present. indicated to the mill the owner of the grain.
