Lavender Filled Felt Hearts

Using a traditional Hungarian techhnique,  the felt is cut into this intricate, traditional design and then sewn onto the felt base.  Filled with lavender and witha a hanging loop incorporated.

The highly killed  master craftswomen who makes these has been using this technique for 45 years, learning the technique as a child from a master craftsmen
