Vintage, home loomed hemp cuhsion cover.

There are some slight blue marks as seen, this is old colour run probably from when the fabric wa first washed, many years ago. This fabric has been washed at 90 with no further run.

These "chunky hemp" cushion covers"  are made from  home lomed vintage hemp. This hemp has a lovely and unusual chunky texture.

These cushions look  especially good in  rustic, Swedish or  seaside  style interiors. A limited amont of this fabric is also available in lengths for upholstery, blinds etc . Please email  textiles@parna.co.uk for range and availability.

There is a variety of sizes available to fit standard UK pillow and cushion fillers. There are a limited number of covers available in each fabric.  

The covers are fastened by means of wooden buttons, crafted by artisans to original designs.

All our vintage linen and hemp  has been home loomed,  much also home grown and home spun, all in all a very time consuming process and one which is no longer widely practised. Home loomed vintage linen  and hemp has a very special, there may be some uneveness in the weave , which adds greatly to the character of these pieces. All parna pieces are washed and ironed before despatch.
