Hand embroidered on home loomed vintage linen. Pretty cross stitch on  pale home loomed vintage linen. One row of embroidery ( 6.7 cm deep) and hand embroidered monogram 

All our vintage linen and hemp has been hand woven on small home looms.  These hand embroidered vintage pieces are all original and unique, no two are the same.

Pieces range in age, nearly all will be pre 1950s and many of them much older, most  at least 70 years old. The hand looming of fabric was a very labour intensive process and each piece took many hours to make. Home loomed fabric has a wonderful texture. When you  buy this fabric you really are buying a piece of history.
