Daerk raspberry striped vintage linen cart cover 350 x 216cm

Vintage hemp Hungarian cart cover.  Deep raspberry stripes  woven into pale, nubby vinatge linen, one sripe running the length of each panel. Four panels hand sewn together with home spun vintage hemp. 

Laundered.Please note that there  are  2 marks as ssen on the fifth image. These marks  are on an end panle 59-73cm from one of the short ends. Othertwise in good condition. Suitable for uphplostery.

All our vintage linen and hemp  has been home loomed,  much also home grown and home spun, all in all a very time consuming process and one which is no longer widely practised. Home loomed vintage linen  and hemp has a very special, there may be some uneveness in the weave , which adds greatly to the character of these pieces. All parna pieces are washed and ironed before despatch.

Hungarian Vintage linen and hemp is well known for its quality, attractiveness and durability. These hand woven pieces have improved with age  as they sofen and lighten. These hand woven pieces have great charm.
