Cushion cover from antique linen   grain sack. Slubby, home loomed, wheat coloured fabric with  with blue stripe with one purple thread running through the stripe..

52 x 52cm  to fit 55 x 55 cm fillers. Feather fillers available (for international customers there will be additional carriage costs, please enquire)

Beautifully hand made and finished, fastened by means of  wooden buttons

Vintage  flour and grain sacks make fabulous cushion covers, the cloth has a wonderful texture and dates from between 1900- 1940. The stripes and monograms indicated to  the mill the owner of the sack.

It is original, eco- friendly  tough and functional .Hungarian vintage linen is world renowned for its quality. Most of what is referred to as Hungarian linen is in fact hemp. Most of which has been home grown, harvested , spun and loomed. Many hours of work went into each metre of finished product.
