Hungarian vintage linen is world renouned for its quality. Most of what is referred to as Hungarian linen is in fact hemp. Most of which has been home grown, harvested, spun and loomed. Many hours of work went into each metre of finished product. These fabrics are from 60 – 120 years old. The fabric is attractive, versatile, strong and eco friendly.

Vintage linen grain and flour sacks, many of which are unused and have been found having been stored for years. The stripes and monogram when present indicated to the mill the owner of the grain. Grain sacks make wonderful cushion covers.
